THE BIG PARTY IN NEW YORK

Date: Saturday, September 19, 6pm-12am
Location: 149 Spring St, New York, NY 10012

Information: The Big Party in New York will be hosted by Pam and Mike Benning, at their home. The capacity is as big as your imagination! Arrive anytime, leave when you want, or come and go as you please. There will be snacks, beverages, and music galore. At 8pm, we will re-enact our vows. So it will be just like you were at the actual wedding!

RSVP? Nope! Just show up! Bring a friend, if you like! It's a party!

OUR BIG TRAVEL PLANS

We are planning a 9 month-long adventure after the wedding. The main focus of our trip will be service. It may take many forms, but whatever we do, we're pretty sure we're not going to get paid for it! There are certain plot points we are fairly sure about, but other details are still to be determined. Watch this space for updates on our plans.

September 22-23, 2009 Travel from New York to Isinya, Kenya. Start to work for BEADS for Education. I think we will be living in this structure here.

December 11, 2009 Travel from Kenya to Berlin. Stay with friends and relatives for a few weeks. Find our way over to Holland in time for Christmas with the extended Heersink Family.

January 2, 2010 Travel from Amsterdam back to Kenya.

January 2-18, 2010 Participate in the 2010 Break the Chains of Illiteracy Walkathon

February 26-27, 2010 Travel to Kochi, India

March, 2010 Spend some time meditating at Bodhi Zendo in Kodiakanal, India, personally recommended by Ben Dahlberg.

March 31, 2010 Travel to Kathmandu, Nepal, en route to Pokhara, Nepal, where we hope to work for SATHI NEPAL.

May 16-27, 2010 Travel through Southeast Asia. Angkor Wat, bangkok, etc.

May 28, 2010 Fly to Portland, OR?
